ProTech is a manufacturer of waste receptacle lids that fit firmly on all large biohazard boxes. OSHA requires that all biohazard waste be covered during storage and transportation. The ProTech Waste Receptacle Lid (patent pending) serves as a temporary cover while the box remains in use and prior to transportation. The lid will help to reduce exposure to hazardous waste as it is discarded into these boxes, therefore reducing risk and providing a safer work environment. The lid is introduced in two variations; a solid lid that sits stationary on the box and lifted when waste needs to be discarded, the other version has a door, allowing the lid to remain stationary will in use.
